If Briarcrest Christian was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Regents on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Saints fell just short of the Plant Panthers by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The Saints' defeat signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Camille Northcross paced Briarcrest Christian's offense, picking up seven kills. Northcross got some help from Sarah O'Connor and her 18 assists.

Briarcrest Christian's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Plant, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coincidentally, Briarcrest Christian and Plant will both be playing Orangewood Christian the next time they take the court. The Saints will head out to face the Rams at 1:20 p.m. on Friday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 3:40 p.m.
