The Sacramento Adventist Capitals won the last time they faced the Golden Sierra Grizzlies, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Sacramento Adventist claimed a resounding 54-7 win over Golden Sierra at home. With Sacramento Adventist ahead 37-4 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Sacramento Adventist's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Victoria Fowler, who scored 12 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 steals. Fowler hasn't dropped below two blocks for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Mikayla Meza, who scored 13 points.
Sacramento Adventist's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Golden Sierra, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sacramento Adventist will face off against Mira Loma at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Mira Loma will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 416th, while Sacramento Adventist is ranked 112th). As for Golden Sierra, they will head out on the road to face off against Highlands at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
