Football Recap: Hillsboro Comes Up Short on the Road Against Haven

Hillsboro kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. The contest between the Trojans and the Haven Wildcats didn't end well, with the Trojans falling 26-12. The matchup was a 12-12 toss-up at halftime, but the Trojans couldn't quite close it out.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Hillsboro will take on rival Larned at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Haven is set to challenge their familiar foe Nickerson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
