Baseball Recap: Chamblee's Run of Three Straight Victories Now Over

After flying high against Arabia Mountain last Thursday, Chamblee came back down to earth. The Bulldogs took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dunwoody Wildcats on Tuesday. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 13-0 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Chamblee saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joey David, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

With the defeat, Chamblee broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-12. As for Dunwoody, their victory was their tenth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-2.

While Chamblee had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
