Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is West Rusk's Seventh in Last Eight Outings

West Rusk won the last time they faced Garrison and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Raiders came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 3-1.

West Rusk walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-17, 21-25, 25-9.

Hannah Haffner paced West Rusk's offense, picking up 19 kills. Haffner got some help from Kimora Pryor and her 51 assists. Haffner was also a major player on defense: she and she shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with four each.

West Rusk is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season. As for Garrison, they dropped their record down to 8-10 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

West Rusk has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against New Diana on the 28th. As for Garrison, they will face off against Pleasant Grove at 9:00 a.m. on Friday.
