Soccer Recap: Rowland's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Tuesday

Rowland won the last time they faced Northview and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Rowland Raiders came out on top against the Northview Vikings by a score of 3-1. Given the Raiders' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 348th, while the Vikings are ranked 805th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Brooklyn Torres and Camila Zumaran scored all three of Rowland's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 15 goals.

Rowland's record is now 11-2-4. As for Northview, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8-1 record this season.

Rowland wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 5-0 victory against Covina on the 23rd. Northview has also already played their next game, a 0-0 draw against West Covina on the 23rd.
