Brookfield Academy came out on top against Kingdom Prep Lutheran on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run first inning. The Blue Knights' pitchers stepped up to hand the Wolfpack a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Blue Knights, who have now won nine contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Noah Thompson was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Jadd Mclean, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Brookfield Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .435. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Brookfield Academy's victory bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Kingdom Prep Lutheran, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

As of now, neither Brookfield Academy nor the Wolfpack have any future games scheduled.
