Soccer Game Preview: Rosamond vs. Mammoth

The Rosamond Roadrunners will face off against the Mammoth Huskies at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rosamond is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.9 goals per game this season.

Rosamond is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Everything went their way against Desert on Thursday as Rosamond made off with a 13-1 win. Nissa Vasquez was a massive factor in the win as she booted in four goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, last FridayFrazier Mountain kept up with Mammoth until halftime, but afterwards: not so much. Mammoth never let Frazier Mountain onto the board and left with a 3-0 victory. That three goal margin sets a new team best for the Huskies this season.

Rosamond pushed their record up to 6-11-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four matches. As for Mammoth, the victory got them back to even at 3-3-3.
