Soccer Recap: Monday's Win Is Hughson's Sixth in Last Eight Outings

In Monday's Canine Competition, Hughson came out on top. They won by a goal and slipped past the Denair Coyotes 2-1. Avery Steffen had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Huskies.

Hughson is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4-1 record this season. As for Denair, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hughson and Ripon will compete for holiday cheer at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Denair, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Stone Ridge Christian at 3:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
