Softball Recap: Bristow Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

Bristow came out on top against Berryhill on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run seventh inning. The Pirates sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 victory over the Chiefs. The Pirates' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Bristow's win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average this season. As for Berryhill, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bristow will host Davenport at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Berryhill, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Bishop Kelley at 5:00 p.m.
