Baseball Recap: Prince Avenue Christian Find Success

Prince Avenue Christian posted their closest win since May 17, 2024 on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Savannah Christian Raiders 4-3. This was a revenge game for the Wolverines: when they faced off against the Raiders last Friday, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.

Drew Payne looked comfortable as he struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in April of 2024.

On the hitting side, Cole Broxton was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one home run. Kyler Giddens was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-3.
