Soccer Recap: Armijo Has No Trouble Against Fairfield

After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Armijo brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They blew past the Fairfield Falcons 4-1 on Tuesday. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 3-0.

Armijo hit Fairfield with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Cecillia Reynoso, Monique Barajas, Natalie Barajas, and Payton Long.

The victory got Armijo back to even at 2-2-1. As for Fairfield, they dropped their record down to 2-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Armijo wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Johnson on the 19th. As for Fairfield, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Valley on the 19th.
