Soccer Recap: Banneker Takes a Loss

Banneker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 10-0 to the Morrow Mustangs. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 345th, while the Mustangs are ranked 81st).

Banneker's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Morrow, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Banneker wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 3-3 draw against Mundy's Mill on the 17th. As for Morrow, they have also already played their next game, a 2-2 victory against Dutchtown on the 14th.
