Softball Recap: Omaha South Takes a Loss

Omaha South fell victim to Omaha Central and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Packers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 5-4.

This is the second loss in a row for Omaha South and nudges their season record down to 3-5. As for Omaha Central, their win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-3.

Omaha South didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 8-0 victory against Omaha North on the 2nd. As for Omaha Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 17-3 win against Benson on the 2nd.
