Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kirkwood). Everything went their way against the Affton Cougars on Tuesday as they made off with a 17-2 victory. The win continues a trend for the Pioneers in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won three in a row.

Kirkwood's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Affton, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9-1.

Coming up, Kirkwood will venture away from home to challenge Mehlville at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Affton, they will welcome Hazelwood West at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
