Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wayne Christian Academy). They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the CES Academy Knights on Friday. It was an even better day for Darren Bargeron as he scored four goals for his team.

The victory made it two in a row for Wayne Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 5-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those two matches. As for CES Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wayne Christian Academy will challenge Faith Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for CES Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Victory Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on April 7.
