Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Monte Vista). They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 67-21 win over the Mount Miguel Matadors. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Monarchs have posted since November 18, 2023.

Monte Vista's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Knikole Steward led the charge by putting up 23 points. Those 23 points gave Steward a new career-high. Taylor Mayer was another key player, earning 18 points.
