Chase's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They claimed a resounding 62-0 win over the Draughn Wildcats. The Trojans' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Chase's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Keyontae Wingo, who rushed for 144 yards and one TD on only 12 carries. The Trojans are 3-1 when Wingo posts 100 or more rushing yards, but 1-4 otherwise. Jontae Wingo was another key player, rushing for 100 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only five carries.

With the win, Chase broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-5. As for Draughn, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chase will take on Patton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 37.11 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Draughn, they will face off against East Burke at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
