Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Emanuel County Institute walked away with it. They blew past the Charlton County Indians 8-1 on Wednesday. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 matches by seven runs or more this season.

The win was the third in a row for Emanuel County Institute, bringing their record up to 28-7. As for Charlton County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 30-6.

Looking ahead, Emanuel County Institute will take on Wilcox County on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bulldogs 3.2, the Patriots 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned. Charlton County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
