Atkinson County had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.7 goals) and they went ahead and made it eight on Thursday. They never let the Lanier County Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. It was an even better day for Carlos Otero as he scored three goals for his team.

Atkinson County's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four games. As for Lanier County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Atkinson County will venture away from home to square off against Brooks County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Brooks County's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last four matchups.
