Softball Recap: Centura Centurions vs. Freeman Falcons
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Centura walked away with it. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-7 win over the Freeman Falcons on Thursday.
Calleigh Sundberg made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed eight innings while giving up three earned (and four unearned) runs off eight hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
