Baseball Recap: Paris Takes a Loss

Paris extended their losing streak to three on Sunday, dropping them down to 15-21. They lost 15-0 to the Montgomery County Indians. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Indians this season, with their most recent defeat being a 17-1 loss back in April.

As for Montgomery County, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 29-7. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won 22 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

For Montgomery County's part, they got a massive performance out of Abe Mullins, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and five RBI. Those five RBI gave Mullins a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Poe, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base.

As of now, neither Paris nor Montgomery County have any future games scheduled.
