After losing to Orange Cove the last time they met, Minarets decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Mustangs enjoyed a cozy 46-30 win over the Titans on Thursday. That's two games straight that the Mustangs have won by exactly 16 points.

Minarets has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 44 points this season. As for Orange Cove, their defeat was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1.

Minarets will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Washington Union at 2:00 p.m. on December 5. As for Orange Cove, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Riverdale at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
