Soccer Recap: Memorial Comes Up Short

Memorial lost against Newton Falls back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Red Devils fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 3-2. Memorial have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Alex Mejia and CJ Sarigianopoulos scored both of Memorial's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 26 goals.

Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 9-7-1. As for Newton Falls, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5-2.

Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Newton Falls, they will take on Chippewa in a tournament on Thursday.
