Basketball Recap: Marshall Comes Up Short

The Marshall Bears were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 61-56 to the Anadarko Warriors. The matchup marked the Bears' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Marshall and nudges their season record down to 5-4. As for Anadarko, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-4.

Coming up, Marshall will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Western Heights at 7:30 p.m. As for Anadarko, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 56-51 defeat against Oklahoma City S on the 9th.
