Preview: Lower Moreland Lions vs. Wissahickon Trojans

The Lower Moreland Lions will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against the Wissahickon Trojans at 3:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Lower Moreland's favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while Wissahickon has been banged up by 11 consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

Lower Moreland suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 55-30 walloping at the hands of Abington. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Lower Moreland has scored all season.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Dani Brusha, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Wissahickon ended up a good deal behind New Hope-Solebury on Thursday and lost 50-31.

Lower Moreland's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-4. As for Wissahickon, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Lower Moreland beat Wissahickon 46-39 in their previous matchup back in January of 2022. Does Lower Moreland have another victory up their sleeve, or will Wissahickon turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
