St. Andrew posted their closest victory since August 30, 2024 on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over The Habersham School Patriots. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was St. Andrew's who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 23-25, 15-11.

St. Andrew's found their leader in sophomore Lyleigh Bradshaw, who had 11 digs.

St. Andrew's victory bumped their record up to 15-10. As for The Habersham School, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 25-7 record.

Coming up, St. Andrew's will be playing in front of their home fans against Westminster Schools of Augusta at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The match will give the Lions their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for The Habersham School, they will challenge Lakeside on Saturday.
