Hanover's rock-solid defense showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Blue Valley Rams a 48-0 shutout. Fans of the Wildcats have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Hanover's record now sits at 5-0. As for Blue Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Hanover will venture away from home to challenge Wakefield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will be up against the Bombers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 47.6 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Blue Valley, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on St. John's/Tipton Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
