Basketball Recap: Edison Takes a Loss

Edison lost against Tokay back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Edison Vikings fell 44-35 to the Tokay Tigers.

When it comes to explaining why Edison lost, don't look at Ajaila Jordan. Despite the final result, she posted 25 points.

Edison's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 8-10. As for Tokay, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Edison wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 62-28 loss against Mountain House on the 27th. Tokay has also already played their next game, a 52-12 win against Chavez on the 28th.
