Basketball Recap: Middle College Comes Up Short

Middle College played a tough game on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 53-18 loss at the hands of the SEED: LA Grizzlies. The Cougars were down 51-16 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Parker Allen had a dynamite game For SEED: LA., putting up 29 points. Those 29 points gave Allen a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jaden Frazier, who posted 12 points.

Middle College's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for SEED: LA, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-3.

Middle College has already played their next matchup (against Stella High Charter Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for SEED: LA, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 44-7 victory against Animo Leadership on the 16th.
