Volleyball Recap: Catoctin Takes a Loss

Catoctin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Boonsboro Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

While Catoctin was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-23, 25-13.

Catoctin's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Boonsboro, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Catoctin will square off against Governor Thomas Johnson at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Boonsboro, they will be playing at home against South Hagerstown at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
