Basketball Recap: Cumberland Valley Eagles vs. Harrisburg Cougars
The Cumberland Valley Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They walked away with a 56-43 victory over Harrisburg. The win made it back-to-back wins for Cumberland Valley.
Leading Cumberland Valley to victory were Lily Moul and Sienna Manns. Moul scored ten points, while Manns scored 12 points along with six assists and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Moul has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Payton Basehore, who scored nine points.
Cumberland Valley's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-13. As for Harrisburg, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.
Cumberland Valley will be playing at home against the Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Harrisburg's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Colts at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th. The timing is sure in Cedar Cliff's favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while the Cougars have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
