Basketball Recap: Arcadia Comes Up Short

After flying high against Glendale on Tuesday, Arcadia came back down to earth. The Apaches were beaten by the Westchester Comets 79-41 on Saturday. The matchup marked the Apaches' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Arcadia moved to 9-2 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak. As for Westchester, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

Coming up, Arcadia will take on Corner Canyon in a tournament on Monday. The Apaches will be up against the Chargers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 59.4 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Westchester, they will be taking part in a tournament against Dublin at 3:20 p.m. on Monday.
