Soccer Recap: Lanier Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Lanier Christian Academy entered their contest against Pinecrest Academy on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Lanier Christian Academy Lightning fell just short of the Pinecrest Academy Paladins by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, the Lightning couldn't push the score so high this time.

Lanier Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Pinecrest Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2.

Looking ahead, Lanier Christian Academy will square off against Riverside Military Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pinecrest Academy, they are taking a road trip to face off against Fideles Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Pinecrest Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.3 goals per game this season.
