Softball Recap: Eufaula Takes a Loss

Eufaula was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Plainview Indians.

Eufaula's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Plainview, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Looking ahead, Eufaula will square off against Perry at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Plainview, they will challenge Madill at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.44 runs per game on average), something the Indians will no doubt try to take advantage of.
