Soccer Recap: Berkmar Takes a Loss

Berkmar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 4-0 to the Norcross Blue Devils. While losing is never fun, Berkmar can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 149th, while Norcross are ranked fifth).

Berkmar's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Norcross, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That somehow still isn't as good as their 11-1-1 record this season.

Berkmar will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against North Gwinnett at 7:30 p.m. As for Norcross, they will venture away from home to challenge Central Gwinnett at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Norcross is facing Central Gwinnett at the right time seeing as Central Gwinnett is stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
