Elbert County and Rabun County are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Elbert County Blue Devils will host the Rabun County Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Elbert County has given up an average of 5.2 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Elbert County is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to six goals last Tuesday, they were much more limited against Providence Christian Academy on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to the Storm.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rabun County). They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Hart County on Wednesday. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Elbert County now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Rabun County, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Elbert County beat Rabun County 5-3 in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Will Elbert County repeat their success, or does Rabun County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
