Basketball Recap: Ceres Has No Trouble Against Los Banos

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Ceres had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They took down the Los Banos Tigers 48-30. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Lilly Staggs was her usual excellent self, putting up 20 points and seven steals. That's the most steals she has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Arrayah Stallworth, who earned eight points in addition to five boards and three steals.

Ceres' win bumped their record up to 22-7. As for Los Banos, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-10.

Ceres wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 67-34 loss against Ponderosa on the 20th. Los Banos does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
