Atlantic waltzed into their match on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Everything went their way against the Shenandoah Mustangs as they made off with a 9-1 win. Considering the Trojans have won 12 games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Atlantic pushed their record up to 17-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Shenandoah, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Atlantic has already played their next match, a 5-4 loss against Clarksville on the 20th. As for Shenandoah, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 5-2 defeat against Griswold on the 21st.
