Basketball Recap: San Juan Hills' Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

It was a good run, but San Juan Hills unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost 58-36 to the Oak Hills Bulldogs.

Despite the loss, San Juan Hills still got an impressive performance from Ellasyn Hunter, who shot 57% from the field on her way to 19 points along with seven boards and three steals. Hunter's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 16 points. Tatum Davis was another key player, putting up nine points and seven rebounds.

San Juan Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Oak Hills, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. San Juan Hills is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Portola at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Oak Hills, they will head out to take on Moreno Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs will be up against the Vikings' rather soft defense (which has allowed 60.75 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
