Soccer Game Preview: Dominguez vs. Bellflower

Dominguez and Bellflower are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2018, but likely not for long. The Dominguez Dons will square off against the Bellflower Buccaneers at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. Dominguez's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Dominguez's offense. They opened the new year with a less-than-successful 2-0 loss to Gahr.

Meanwhile, Bellflower can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They and Gahr finished up their game with a 0-0 draw. The result was nothing new for the Buccaneers as the squad haven't won a game since December 14, 2024.

Bellflower's draw gives them a new season record of 2-4-3. As for Dominguez, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2-1.

Everything went Dominguez's way against Bellflower in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as Dominguez made off with a 7-0 win. Will Dominguez repeat their success, or does Bellflower have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
