Soccer Recap: North Gwinnett Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact North Gwinnett can now relate to. They fell just short of the Lambert Longhorns by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. One thing that sure didn't help North Gwinnett was the trouble they got from the refs, as Sebastian VANDEPLAS and Anderson ULRICH were both handed red cards.

North Gwinnett's goal came courtesy of Daris MUSTIC, who's now up to 12 this season.

North Gwinnett dropped their record down to 5-11 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Lambert, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-3.

As of now, neither North Gwinnett nor the Longhorns have any future games scheduled.
