Softball Recap: Eureka Sets Scoring Season-High Against Parkway South

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Eureka). They put the hurt on the Parkway South Patriots with a sharp 12-4 win on Wednesday. The victory was nothing new for the Wildcats as they're now sitting on three straight.

Kayleigh Niles was incredible, going 3-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Addison Schneider, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Eureka lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Eureka's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Parkway South, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eureka will challenge Jackson at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Parkway South, they will face off against Cor Jesu Academy at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday.
