Softball Recap: Ash Fork/Seligman Comes Up Short

The Ash Fork/Seligman Spartans came up short against the Joseph City Wildcats on Monday, falling 15-3. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Crystal Nixon made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run.

Ash Fork/Seligman now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Joseph City, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 23-4.

Ash Fork/Seligman wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 14-7 loss against Mogollon on the 29th. As for Joseph City, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 24-0 victory against Desert Heights Prep on the 2nd.
