Basketball Recap: Wissahickon Takes a Loss

Wissahickon lost against Abington back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wissahickon Trojans lost to the Abington Galloping Ghosts at home by a 62-48 margin. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 531st, while the Galloping Ghosts are ranked 152nd).

Wissahickon is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13. As for Abington, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 10-9 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wissahickon will take on Norristown at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Abington has already played their next match (against Plymouth Whitemarsh), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
