Baseball Recap: Wheeler Takes a Loss

Wheeler was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 8-3 to the Dominion Christian Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 6-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Wheeler got a good showing from Chase Greenwood, who pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.

At the plate, Camden Lansdell made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Lansdell is also crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's stolen at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

Wheeler's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

While they had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
