Soccer Game Preview: Worth County vs. Berrien

Worth County is 1-9 against Berrien since April of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Worth County Rams will be playing in front of their home fans against the Berrien Rebels at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Worth County was handed a five-goal defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They skirted past Bacon County 2-1. The win was some much needed relief for the Rams as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Berrien). Their defense stepped up to hand Echols County an 8-0 shutout on Friday. It was an even better day for Greysen Strickland as he scored four goals for his team.

Berrien's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Worth County, their win bumped their record up to 3-9.
