Basketball Recap: Midd-West Takes a Loss

Midd-West lost against Danville back in December of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Midd-West Mustangs had to suffer through a 53-20 loss at the hands of the Danville Ironmen. The Mustangs' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Midd-West's record is now 1-11. As for Danville, they moved to 3-10 with that victory, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Midd-West and Danville could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. Midd-West (ranked 653rd) will meet Jersey Shore (ranked 109th) at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Danville will challenge Selinsgrove at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday down 259 places (516 vs. 257).
