Eagle's Landing's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-0. As for Jones County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.

Jones County might still be hurting after the 6-1 loss they got from Eagle's Landing in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Jones County was down 3-0.
