Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Trion). They never let the Manchester Blue Devils get on the board and left with a 17-0 win on Saturday. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by six runs or more this season.

Trion pushed their record up to 12-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Manchester, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-17.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trion will host Model at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Manchester, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Shaw at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Blue Devils' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Raiders have averaged an impressive 8.7 runs per game this season.
